MODEL AIRPLANE BUILDING AND FLYING for Youths

Youths, ages 9-17 will enjoy learning how to build and fly their own model airplanes.  Students will learn the basic science of power flight while having a lot of fun.  Every new student will receive a control-line gas-powered model "The Platter".  Continuing students will build a balsa wood model. The real reward comes when they are able to fly their gas-powered model.  All students must join  the Academy of Model Aeronautics which will allow the student to fly his or her model under liability and accident/medical insurance. The class is ongoing and students may enroll at any time. Parents are welcome to attend. For more information call (510) 245-9310 after 6:00 PM or (415) 899-9111 during the day.
