2002 Lawson SEA

Technical lead for the web-based employee self-service module implementation. The Self Evident Application (SEA) allows employees to electronically view and update personal employee information. Included custom modifications for specific business requirements using JavaScript. Implemented company wide conversion to Windows 2000 Professional as standard desktop platform.

2001 Runit Retail Conversion

Technical Project Leading on the POS selection committee. Development a comprehensive technical requirement criteria for the selection of a new Point of Sale system to replace the current RetailPro system for outlet and retail stores.

Converted the existing hand-held data collection (Tricoder) device to function with the new Runit Physical Inventory system. Act as primary liaison with AS/400 programmers to develop download and update process for item master database conversion.

2000 Norton Anti Virus Server

Implement new Norton Anti-Virus Enterprise Edition to enable centralize management of Virus check software on Network servers and PCs company wide. This solution will automate the daily maintenance of update to the software and virus definition.

2000 Fax Server

Install new FaxServe DID board in Fileserver and upgraded FaxServe software to version 6. Debugged new DID number to automatically fax routing to the users PC.

1997 Retail Pro

Implement Retail Pro POS system for new outlet stores. Devised outlet store barcode system. Integrated ICVerify Credit Card Processing into RetailPro system. Install new POS system in Orlando, Gilroy, Oakland and San Francisco.

1996 Windows 95 and Netware 4.1

Upgraded all workstation to new Windows 95 platform. Assisted in the upgrade from Netware 3.12 to Netware 4.1. on a new Compaq Proliant server. Converted existed token-ring topology to Ethernet 10-base T.

1995 Returns Shoe-box Re-labeling System

Created program in Foxpro database to recreate exact shoe box label for return merchandise.

This system was upgraded in 1998 to use same software as the one used in Germany, called "EasyLabel" I converted the Germany label format and prompt to English language and development documentation and training for the return department staff.

Continue to maintain a relationship with the IT department in Germany to update latest shoe pictures and database.

1995 Sales Rep Sell-Thru

Develop , coded and tested an application program for outside sales representative to track sell-thru performance for major accounts. Reprogrammed Intermec hand-held data collector and laser scanner to accept UPC barcode on shoe boxes. After downloading inventory data, the application on the laptop calculated sell-thru rate for each item based in the previous visit.

1994 Warehouse Inventory Location System

Developed warehouse inventory tracking system for receiving and movement of bulk inventory in the warehouse on a daily basis. Redesigned warehouse barcode location to better track location of inventory as it moves from bulk to shelf location.

Designed, coded and tested a new application program using Intermec hand-held barcode scanners to perform the yearly physical inventory of the warehouse. Designed and supported new warehouse location labeling format.

1993 First Network Server

Installed first PC Network system at Birkenstock's new Novato office based on IBM's token-ring topology. Analyzed the company network functions and procured new Netware based server and PC's. Interface PC to AS/400 system using IBM PC Support client application. 1992 Germany Relationship with IT When to Germany in December 1992 to develop method to improve data file transfer communication for PO's and shipping.
